After going back and forth for months on tire sizes and level kits, I finally decided to just try 35s on my truck as is, which is stock everything minus the mud flaps. My 2011 4.6 came with 33s on 18 tsi wheels. I’m planning on leveling it and going to 35s next tire change but I imagine I’ll be itching to re gear at that point. I previously owned a 2014 5.7 liter on 35s so I’m already feeling the power loss switching to the 4.6 liter as it is lol.

First of all, you’ll loose some low-end torque (especially when you go 10% bigger than factory). I think the 4.5 inch lift will need trimming so I want to get the 7 inch but then im thinking the 35s might be to small. Apr 27, 2014 · The clearance in the garage is 7'. The guy at 4wheelparts is able to get his Big Horn on 6"/35's in a 7' garage, and said the Tundra should be shorter. I'm hoping I can fit it so I don't have to go some combination of 4" or 33's. I have a 3-4" lift with 35's and have about 2 inches of clearance left between the roof and the garage door.
