It most of the time has to be jumped or turn the key on and off 5 times before trying to start it. Engine light is on with reading that a new gas cap is needed. I replaced the gas cap and it’s still ... You will have take the cover off the air filter to do this. Replace the air filter cover and attempt to start the car. If it starts and runs for a few seconds, then your problem is in the fuel delivery system. If the car doesn't start and run, then the problem is in the spark delivery system. To test it, unplug the fuel pump connector and apply a 12v tester to it with the key on.
